Ingredients
- 1 egg yolk
- 3 garlic cloves
- 150 ml olive oil
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Whisk the egg yolk together with the pressed garlic vigorously with a whisk until the mixture takes on a light yellow color.
- 2. Stir in the olive oil slowly and drop by drop while stirring constantly until a creamy, mayonnaise-like consistency forms. Finally, season the sauce to taste with salt, pepper, and a splash of lemon juice.
