  2. 2. Beat the butter with a spoon or fork until it is creamy and frothy.
  3. 3. Peel the garlic cloves.
  4. 4. Finely chop the garlic or press it directly into the butter.
  5. 5. Stir the garlic well into the butter.
  6. 6. Season the butter with a pinch of salt.
  7. 7. Place a suitable strip of cling film on your work surface.
  8. 8. Place the seasoned butter onto the film.
  9. 9. Shape the butter into a compact roll.
  10. 10. Wrap the roll tightly in the cling film.
  11. 11. Place the butter roll in the refrigerator for at least two hours.
  12. 12. Take the roll out of the refrigerator.
  13. 13. Slice the butter into thick rounds.
  14. 14. Serve the slices immediately.
