  1. 1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. 2. Peel the garlic and slice it thinly.
  3. 3. Crumble the peperoncini.
  4. 4. Heat the olive oil in a pan and add the garlic and peperoncini.
  5. 5. Sauté the ingredients briefly so the garlic does not turn bitter.
  6. 6. Remove the pan from the heat.
  7. 7. Add the spaghetti to the boiling water and cook them according to the package instructions until al dente (firm to the bite).
  8. 8. Wash the parsley, shake it dry, pluck off the leaves and chop them finely.
  9. 9. Just before the pasta is done, reheat the pan, add 3-4 tablespoons of pasta water and stir.
  10. 10. Drain the spaghetti, add them to the pan and season with salt and pepper.
  11. 11. Sprinkle the parsley over the top and mix everything well.
  12. 12. Serve the spaghetti on pre-warmed plates, grate Parmesan over the top and serve immediately.
