Ingredients
- 350 g shrimp (peeled and deveined, ready to cook)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 dried chili pepper
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp dry sherry
- 0.5 tsp paprika powder (sweet)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 2 tbsp fresh chopped parsley
- lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the shrimp under cold water and let them drain well in a sieve.
- 2. Peel the garlic cloves and chop them together with the chili very finely.
- 3. Heat the oil in a large frying pan.
- 4. Fry the garlic and chili in it for 1 to 2 minutes.
- 5. Add the shrimp and cook them for about 1 minute.
- 6. Season the dish with lemon juice, sherry, paprika powder, salt, and pepper.
- 7. Finally, adjust the taste of the sauce as needed.
- 8. Sprinkle the shrimp with fresh parsley.
- 9. Serve the shrimp and provide lemon wedges for decoration and squeezing.
