🍽️ Honey Garlic Pork Roast

Ingredients
- 1.2 kg Pork roast (bone-in)
- Salt
- Pepper (from the mill)
- 8 tbsp liquid honey
- 2 garlic cloves
- 250 ml meat broth
Instructions
- 1. Season the meat generously with salt and pepper.
- 2. Warm the honey in a small bowl.
- 3. Squeeze the garlic directly into the warm honey and stir well.
- 4. Take half of the garlic-honey mixture.
- 5. Brush the meat all over with it.
- 6. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
- 7. Place the meat in a roasting pan.
- 8. Roast the meat in the preheated oven on the middle rack.
- 9. Let the roast cook for a total of one and a half hours.
- 10. After 45 minutes, pour two-thirds of the broth into the roasting pan.
- 11. Drizzle some of the garlic-honey mixture over the roast.
- 12. Baste the meat with pan juices repeatedly.
- 13. Stir the remaining garlic-honey mixture into the pan drippings.
- 14. Bring the sauce to a brief boil.
- 15. Deglaze the sauce with the remaining broth.
- 16. Finally, season the sauce with salt and pepper.
- 17. Slice the roast.
- 18. Serve the meat with the warm sauce.
