🍝 Garlic Pasta with Tomatoes

Ingredients
- 400 g Spaghetti
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 6 garlic cloves
- 1 dried chili pepper
- 0.5 bunch basil
- 8 cherry tomatoes
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
- 1. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 2. Slice the garlic thinly.
- 3. Crumble the peperoncini or chop them very finely.
- 4. Heat some olive oil in a pan.
- 5. Add the garlic and peperoncini to the pan.
- 6. Sauté the ingredients briefly.
- 7. Add the cherry tomatoes.
- 8. Cook the tomatoes for a short time.
- 9. Remove the pan from the heat.
- 10. Cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water until al dente (firm to the bite).
- 11. Wash the basil.
- 12. Shake the basil dry.
- 13. Pluck off the basil leaves.
- 14. Chop the basil leaves.
- 15. Reheat the pan just before the spaghetti is done.
- 16. Add 3-4 tablespoons of pasta water to the pan.
- 17. Stir the pasta water.
- 18. Drain the spaghetti in a colander.
- 19. Add the spaghetti to the pan.
- 20. Season the pasta with salt.
- 21. Season the pasta with pepper.
- 22. Sprinkle the basil over the pasta.
- 23. Mix all ingredients well.
- 24. Serve the pasta on pre-warmed plates.
- 25. Serve the pasta immediately.
