🍽️ Garfish with Garlic

Ingredients
- 4 halibut steaks (à approx. 160 g)
- 8 garlic cloves
- soy sauce
- black pepper (coarsely ground)
- olive oil (extra virgin)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- salt
- 2 lemons
Instructions
- 1. Pat the halibut steaks dry with kitchen paper.
- 2. Place the steaks on a plate.
- 3. Drizzle each steak with 1 to 2 tablespoons of soy sauce.
- 4. Let the steaks marinate for 5 minutes.
- 5. Peel the garlic.
- 6. Slice the garlic thinly lengthwise.
- 7. Heat 4 tablespoons of oil in a pan.
- 8. Fry the garlic slices in the hot oil until golden yellow.
- 9. Remove the garlic slices from the pan immediately to prevent them from burning.
- 10. Place the garlic slices on a plate and set aside.
- 11. Let the fish drain slightly.
- 12. Catch the draining juice.
- 13. Fry the fish steaks in the hot oil for 2 to 3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- 14. Remove the cooked fish steaks from the pan.
- 15. Place the steaks on pre-warmed plates.
- 16. Return the collected juice and the garlic to the pan.
- 17. Let the mixture bubble up briefly.
- 18. Distribute the garlic spoonful by spoonful over the halibut.
- 19. Season the fish generously with pepper.
