🍽️ Garlic Chicken

Ingredients
- 4 chicken drumsticks
- 2 garlic bulbs
- 1 lemon (squeezed)
- 1 tbsp thyme leaves
- 2 onions
- 8 tbsp olive oil
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 2 tsp mustard
Instructions
- 1. Peel four garlic cloves.
- 2. Place the garlic cloves, lemon juice, oil, thyme leaves, salt, pepper, and mustard in a blender.
- 3. Blend the ingredients into a marinade.
- 4. Rub the chicken with half of the marinade.
- 5. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 6. Peel the onions.
- 7. Cut the onions into coarse cubes.
- 8. Roughly chop the remaining garlic with the skin on (halve or quarter it).
- 9. Place the onion cubes and the coarse garlic into a greased casserole dish.
- 10. Place the chicken on top of the vegetables with the breast side facing up.
- 11. Roast the chicken on the middle rack for 60 to 70 minutes.
- 12. After about 10 minutes, pour 0.5 liters of water into the casserole dish.
- 13. Brush the chicken repeatedly with the remaining marinade during cooking.
- 14. Season the pan juices with salt and pepper before serving.
- 15. Serve the finished chicken in the casserole dish with baguette.
