  2. 2. Remove the hard ends of the cucumbers.
  3. 3. Cut the cucumbers lengthwise into four long strips.
  4. 4. Cut the strips into small, even cubes.
  5. 5. Peel the garlic clove and remove the skin.
  6. 6. Mince the garlic very finely.
  7. 7. Mix the minced garlic with the yogurt in a bowl.
  8. 8. Add the lemon juice to the yogurt-garlic mixture.
  9. 9. Season the sauce with salt to taste.
  10. 10. Add white pepper and stir everything well.
  11. 11. Distribute the cucumber cubes evenly onto four plates or bowls.
  12. 12. Pour the yogurt sauce evenly over the cucumbers.
  13. 13. Wash the mint thoroughly under cold water.
  14. 14. Shake the mint dry to remove excess water.
  15. 15. Carefully pluck the mint leaves from the stems.
  16. 16. Sprinkle the fresh mint leaves over the salad as a garnish.
