Ingredients
- 1000 g cucumber (2 cucumbers)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 250 g Greek yogurt
- 1 splash lemon juice
- salt
- white pepper
- 2 sprigs mint
Instructions
- 1. Wash the cucumbers thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Remove the hard ends of the cucumbers.
- 3. Cut the cucumbers lengthwise into four long strips.
- 4. Cut the strips into small, even cubes.
- 5. Peel the garlic clove and remove the skin.
- 6. Mince the garlic very finely.
- 7. Mix the minced garlic with the yogurt in a bowl.
- 8. Add the lemon juice to the yogurt-garlic mixture.
- 9. Season the sauce with salt to taste.
- 10. Add white pepper and stir everything well.
- 11. Distribute the cucumber cubes evenly onto four plates or bowls.
- 12. Pour the yogurt sauce evenly over the cucumbers.
- 13. Wash the mint thoroughly under cold water.
- 14. Shake the mint dry to remove excess water.
- 15. Carefully pluck the mint leaves from the stems.
- 16. Sprinkle the fresh mint leaves over the salad as a garnish.
