🥤 Small Schnitzel with Coffee Butter

Ingredients
- 1 green cardamom pod
- 2 tbsp coffee beans
- 1 tsp black peppercorns
- 1 tsp coarse sea salt
- 4 pork schnitzel (approx. 160 g each)
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 100 g mixed salad leaves (oak leaf lettuce, leaf lettuce; arugula)
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp white balsamic vinegar
Instructions
- 1. Open the cardamom pods and remove the seeds.
- 2. Place the cardamom seeds, coffee beans, peppercorns, and sea salt into a mortar.
- 3. Crush the ingredients in the mortar until you have a coarse powder.
- 4. Place the schnitzel on your work surface.
- 5. Flatten the schnitzel if they are still too thick.
- 6. Add the oil and butter to a frying pan.
- 7. Heat the pan and add the ground spices.
- 8. Place the schnitzel in the hot coffee butter over medium heat.
- 9. Fry the schnitzel for 2 to 3 minutes on each side.
- 10. Wash the salad and remove the tough stems.
- 11. Tear the salad into bite-sized pieces if necessary.
- 12. Distribute the salad onto plates or into bowls.
- 13. Drizzle the salad with oil and vinegar.
- 14. Place the finished schnitzel on top of the salad.
- 15. Drizzle some of the coffee butter over the schnitzel.
- 16. Serve the dish immediately.
