  4. 4. Bring the milk to a boil with the thyme leaves.
  5. 5. Remove the pan from the heat.
  6. 6. Stir in the cheese gradually until it has completely melted.
  7. 7. Separate the eggs into yolks and whites.
  8. 8. Stir the egg yolks into the cheese mixture.
  9. 9. Season the mixture with salt.
  10. 10. Pour the liquid over the bread cubes.
  11. 11. Let the mixture soak for 10 minutes.
  12. 12. Preheat the oven to 150 degrees.
  13. 13. Dice the salami.
  14. 14. Fold the salami cubes into the cheese-bread mixture.
  15. 15. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff.
  16. 16. Gently fold the egg whites into the mixture.
