🍽️ Mini Paprika Pizzas

Ingredients
- 200 g flour
- 200 g whole wheat flour
- 0.5 tsp sea salt
- 1 cube yeast
- 1 tbsp liquid honey
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 orange bell peppers
- 400 g large beefsteak tomato (1 large beefsteak tomato)
- 175 g young goat cheese
- salt
- pepper
- 3 sprigs basil
- 3 tbsp walnut oil
Instructions
- 1. Sift the flour together with the salt into a large bowl.
- 2. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture.
- 3. Crumble the yeast into the well.
- 4. Pour in 275 ml of lukewarm water and the honey.
- 5. Mix the ingredients thoroughly starting from the center.
- 6. Add the olive oil.
- 7. Knead everything into a smooth dough.
- 8. Place the dough on a lightly floured work surface.
- 9. Knead the dough vigorously by hand for 5 minutes.
- 10. Place the dough into a bowl.
- 11. Cover the bowl.
- 12. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 40 to 45 minutes.
- 13. The dough should double in size.
- 14. Wash the bell peppers thoroughly.
- 15. Quarter the bell peppers.
- 16. Remove the seeds and white pith.
- 17. Place the pepper pieces skin-side up on a baking sheet.
- 18. Turn the oven grill to the highest setting.
- 19. Roast the peppers under the hot grill.
- 20. Wait until the skin turns black and blisters.
- 21. Place the roasted peppers into a bowl.
- 22. Cover the bowl with cling film.
- 23. Let the peppers steam for 10 minutes.
- 24. Wash the tomatoes.
- 25. Slice the tomatoes into thin slices.
- 26. Crumble the goat cheese into small pieces using your hands.
- 27. Peel the cooled peppers.
- 28. Cut the peppers into thin strips.
- 29. Knead the risen dough briefly again.
- 30. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions.
- 31. Shape the portions into balls on the floured surface.
- 32. Let the dough balls rest for 10 minutes.
- 33. Roll the balls into circles with a thickness of 1 cm.
- 34. Place the dough circles on a floured baking sheet.
- 35. Top the pizzas with the tomato slices.
- 36. Distribute the pepper strips on top.
- 37. Add the goat cheese pieces.
- 38. Season with salt and pepper.
- 39. Preheat the oven to 250 °C (convection 220 °C, gas highest setting).
- 40. Bake the pizzas for about 15 minutes.
- 41. Wash the basil.
- 42. Shake the basil dry.
- 43. Pluck the leaves from the stems.
- 44. Finely chop the basil leaves.
- 45. Drizzle the finished pizzas with walnut oil.
- 46. Garnish the pizzas with the fresh basil.
- 47. Serve the pizzas immediately.
