  5. 5. Mix the ingredients thoroughly starting from the center.
  6. 6. Add the olive oil.
  7. 7. Knead everything into a smooth dough.
  8. 8. Place the dough on a lightly floured work surface.
  9. 9. Knead the dough vigorously by hand for 5 minutes.
  10. 10. Place the dough into a bowl.
  11. 11. Cover the bowl.
  12. 12. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 40 to 45 minutes.
  13. 13. The dough should double in size.
  14. 14. Wash the bell peppers thoroughly.
  15. 15. Quarter the bell peppers.
  16. 16. Remove the seeds and white pith.
  17. 17. Place the pepper pieces skin-side up on a baking sheet.
  18. 18. Turn the oven grill to the highest setting.
  19. 19. Roast the peppers under the hot grill.
  20. 20. Wait until the skin turns black and blisters.
  21. 21. Place the roasted peppers into a bowl.
  22. 22. Cover the bowl with cling film.
  23. 23. Let the peppers steam for 10 minutes.

  25. 25. Slice the tomatoes into thin slices.
