  2. 2. Place the minced meat, eggs, and mustard in a large bowl.
  3. 3. Rinse the fresh herbs under cold running water.
  4. 4. Gently pat the herbs dry with kitchen paper.
  5. 5. Finely chop the herbs with a knife.
  6. 6. Set aside a small portion of the herbs for decoration.
  7. 7. Add the chopped herbs to the meat and egg mixture.
  8. 8. Season the mixture with salt, pepper, and cumin.
  9. 9. Knead everything by hand until it forms a uniform mixture.
  10. 10. Divide the meat mixture into eight equal portions.
  11. 11. Shape each portion into a small, flat patty.
  12. 12. Place the finished burgers on a plate.
  13. 13. Place the burgers in the refrigerator for a few minutes to firm up.
  14. 14. Peel the onions completely.
  15. 15. Slice the onions into very thin rings.
  16. 16. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly.
  17. 17. Dry the tomatoes with a cloth or kitchen paper.
  18. 18. Remove the hard stem ends from the tomatoes.
  19. 19. Slice the flesh of the tomatoes into thin rounds.

  21. 21. Slice the buns horizontally in the middle.

  35. 35. Arrange the remaining onion rings decoratively around the burger.
  36. 36. Lean the top bun halves diagonally against the burgers.
