🍽️ Juicy Veal Burger Patties

Ingredients
- 400 g Veal mince (order from the butcher in advance)
- 2 Eggs
- 2 tbsp Mustard
- 1 handful flat-leaf parsley
- 5 Coriander stems
- Salt
- Pepper (from the mill)
- 1 tsp Cumin (ground)
- 2 Onions
- 3 Tomatoes
- 8 small burger buns (order from the baker in advance if needed)
- 50 g Red cabbage sprouts
- Cherry tomatoes (for garnishing)
- flat-leaf parsley (for garnishing)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- 2. Place the minced meat, eggs, and mustard in a large bowl.
- 3. Rinse the fresh herbs under cold running water.
- 4. Gently pat the herbs dry with kitchen paper.
- 5. Finely chop the herbs with a knife.
- 6. Set aside a small portion of the herbs for decoration.
- 7. Add the chopped herbs to the meat and egg mixture.
- 8. Season the mixture with salt, pepper, and cumin.
- 9. Knead everything by hand until it forms a uniform mixture.
- 10. Divide the meat mixture into eight equal portions.
- 11. Shape each portion into a small, flat patty.
- 12. Place the finished burgers on a plate.
- 13. Place the burgers in the refrigerator for a few minutes to firm up.
- 14. Peel the onions completely.
- 15. Slice the onions into very thin rings.
- 16. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly.
- 17. Dry the tomatoes with a cloth or kitchen paper.
- 18. Remove the hard stem ends from the tomatoes.
- 19. Slice the flesh of the tomatoes into thin rounds.
- 20. Take the buns.
- 21. Slice the buns horizontally in the middle.
- 22. Place the patties on the hot grill.
- 23. Grill the burgers for three to four minutes on the first side.
- 24. Flip the patties and grill the other side for another three to four minutes.
- 25. Place the bun halves with the cut side down on the grill.
- 26. Toast the buns until they are golden brown.
- 27. Remove the grilled buns from the grill.
- 28. Place the tomato slices on the bottom bun halves.
- 29. Distribute the onion rings over the tomatoes.
- 30. Set aside four nice onion rings for decoration.
- 31. Place the grilled meat burgers on top of the vegetables.
- 32. Sprinkle the reserved herbs over the burgers.
- 33. Decorate the burgers with halved cherry tomatoes.
- 34. Add flat-leaf parsley as a garnish.
- 35. Arrange the remaining onion rings decoratively around the burger.
- 36. Lean the top bun halves diagonally against the burgers.
