🍽️ Mini Burgers with Bread Roll Filling

Ingredients
- 1 stale bread roll
- 1 small onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 500 g ground beef
- 1 tsp hot mustard
- 1 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 8 small sesame buns (party buns)
- 8 tsp mayonnaise
- 8 cocktail tomatoes
- 8 small lettuce leaves (e.g. Lollo Rosso)
Instructions
- 1. Soak the bread roll in lukewarm water.
- 2. Peel the onions and the garlic.
- 3. Finely chop the onions and the garlic.
- 4. Heat one tablespoon of oil in a pan.
- 5. Sauté the onions and garlic until translucent.
- 6. Remove the pan from the heat.
- 7. Let the onion mixture cool down.
- 8. Squeeze the soaked bread roll well.
- 9. Mix the cooled onion mixture with the minced meat, the mustard, the parsley, the squeezed bread roll, and the egg.
- 10. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- 11. Form eight small balls from the meat mixture.
- 12. Flatten the meat balls.
- 13. Heat the remaining oil in the pan.
- 14. Fry the patties brown on each side for 2 to 3 minutes by turning them.
- 15. Halve the sesame buns crosswise.
- 16. Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of the bun.
- 17. Wash the tomatoes.
- 18. Slice the tomatoes.
- 19. Wash the salad greens.
- 20. Shake the salad dry.
- 21. Place the fried meat patties on the bottom bun halves.
- 22. Top the patties with the dry salad.
- 23. Place the tomato slices on the salad.
- 24. Place the top bun half on.
- 25. Secure the burger with a toothpick.
- 26. Serve the mini burgers.
