🍽️ Mini Beef Burgers

Ingredients
- 600 g beef
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
- salt
- pepper
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 16 mini burger buns
- 1 handful leaf lettuce (e.g. Lollo bionda and iceberg)
- mozzarella (sliced)
- Gouda (sliced)
- Camembert (sliced)
- Parma ham (sliced)
- tomato cubes
- finely chopped basil
- balsamic vinegar (for drizzling)
Instructions
- 1. Put the beef, the egg, and the breadcrumbs into a large bowl.
- 2. Work the ingredients together with your hands until you have a uniform mixture.
- 3. Season the meat mixture generously with salt and pepper.
- 4. Shape the mixture into 16 small, equal-sized burger patties.
- 5. Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat.
- 6. Fry the burger patties in the hot oil on the first side for 2 to 3 minutes until golden brown.
- 7. Flip the patties and fry them on the second side for another 2 to 3 minutes until golden brown.
- 8. Slice the buns horizontally through the middle.
- 9. Toast the cut sides of the buns in a dry pan or in the oven until golden brown.
- 10. Remove the cooked burger patties from the heat.
- 11. Place the burger patties on the bottom halves of the toasted buns.
- 12. Add your prepared additional ingredients according to your taste.
- 13. Assemble the burgers with the top bun halves.
- 14. Serve the mini burgers immediately while warm.
