🍽️ Bran cereal with fresh apple

Ingredients
- 25 g dried oat bran (ready to mix)
- 25 g dried wheat bran (ready to mix)
- 400 ml milk
- 1 apple
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp candied cherries (cut into strips)
- 1 tbsp candied lemon (cut into strips)
- mint (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the apple thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Cut the apple in half.
- 3. Remove the core from the center of the apple halves.
- 4. Grate the apple flesh coarsely using a grater.
- 5. Place the grated apples into a bowl.
- 6. Add the bran cereal to the bowl.
- 7. Pour the milk over the apple and bran mixture.
- 8. Stir the honey into the ingredients.
- 9. Gently fold in the candied fruits.
- 10. Let the mixture soak for 20 minutes.
- 11. Portion the cereal into small bowls.
- 12. Garnish the finished cereal with fresh mint leaves.
- 13. Serve the cereal immediately.
