  1. 1. Heat the oil in a large pot.
  2. 2. Sear the meat cubes in batches until browned.
  3. 3. Remove the meat from the pot and set it aside.
  4. 4. Peel the onions and garlic.
  5. 5. Finely dice the onions and garlic.
  6. 6. Sauté the onion and garlic mixture in the same pot for a short time.
  7. 7. Return the seared meat to the pot.
  8. 8. Sprinkle the meat with paprika powder.
  9. 9. Deglaze the mixture with the meat broth.
  10. 10. Add the tomatoes to the pot.
  11. 11. Season with cumin, salt, and pepper.
  12. 12. Cover the pot and let the goulash simmer on low heat for approx. 1 hour.
  13. 13. Stir the goulash occasionally.
  14. 14. Wash the bell peppers.
  15. 15. Halve the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
  16. 16. Dice the bell peppers.
  17. 17. Add the diced peppers to the goulash.
  18. 18. Let the goulash simmer for another approx. 30 minutes.
  19. 19. Add more broth if necessary, if the sauce becomes too dry.
  20. 20. Cook the ribbon noodles in salted water al dente.
  21. 21. Drain the noodles.
  22. 22. Distribute the noodles onto plates.
  23. 23. Stir the crème fraîche into the goulash.
  24. 24. Season the goulash with salt and pepper to taste.
  25. 25. Pour the goulash over the noodles.
  26. 26. Serve the dish.
