  1. 1. Roughly chop the chocolate coating.
  2. 2. Heat the cream with the rum in a small saucepan until it is almost boiling.
  3. 3. Remove the pan from the heat and add the chopped coating.
  4. 4. Let the mixture sit for a short time until the chocolate softens.
  5. 5. Stir with a whisk until a smooth ganache forms.
  6. 6. Crumble the marzipan base with your fingers.
  7. 7. Fold the marzipan crumbs into the chocolate cream.
  8. 8. Place the bowl in the refrigerator.
  9. 9. Let the filling set for at least 3 hours.
  10. 10. Line a shallow dish (approx. 30 x 15 cm) with cling film.
  11. 11. Whip the chilled cream briefly with a whisk.
  12. 12. Take one third of the cream and spread it on the bottom of the dish.
  13. 13. Place a layer of butter biscuits on the cream.
  14. 14. Continue this process until you have three layers of biscuits in the dish.
  15. 15. Finish the assembly with a fourth layer of biscuits.
  16. 16. Place the dish in the refrigerator for another hour.
  17. 17. Chop the dark chocolate coating and the white chocolate separately.
  18. 18. Melt the dark chocolate coating in a bain-marie (water bath).
  19. 19. Melt the white chocolate separately in a bain-marie (water bath).
  20. 20. Lift the cake block out of the dish using the cling film.
  21. 21. Cut the block into even cubes.
  22. 22. Pour the melted dark chocolate coating over the domino squares.
  23. 23. Decorate the still wet squares as desired with the white chocolate.
  24. 24. Let the chocolate dry well in the air.
