  2. 2. Line the cups of a cupcake or muffin tray with paper liners.
  3. 3. Beat the butter with the sugar until fluffy.
  4. 4. Whisk the eggs with the lime juice and lime zest.
  5. 5. Add the egg-lime mixture along with the flour, almonds, and baking powder to the butter mixture.
  6. 6. Stir everything well until a homogeneous dough forms.
  7. 7. Fill the mixture into the prepared liners.
  8. 8. Bake the cupcakes for about 25 minutes until golden brown in the oven.
  9. 9. Remove the cupcakes from the oven and let them cool completely.
  10. 10. For the cream, beat the butter with the sugar and vanilla seeds until creamy.
  11. 11. Fold the cream cheese into the butter-sugar mixture.
  12. 12. Stir in enough powdered sugar until the cream is pipeable.
  13. 13. Fill the cream into a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
  14. 14. Pipe the cream onto the cooled cupcakes.
  15. 15. Garnish the cupcakes with edible flowers as desired.
  16. 16. Finally, dust the cupcakes with powdered sugar.
