  2. 2. The next day, carefully pour the marinated cherries into a pot. Bring them to a boil and then let them simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes.
  3. 3. Perform a setting test: Place a teaspoon of the jam on a cold saucer. Tilt the saucer slightly; the jam should flow slowly and easily.
  4. 4. Let the jam cool down for a short while. Then pour it into clean jars with screw-top lids.
