  3. 3. Place the cherries in a pot.
  4. 4. Set the pot over medium heat.
  5. 5. Cook the cherries for about 5 minutes.
  6. 6. Stir the cherries occasionally.
  7. 7. Mash the soft cherries into a puree using a fork.
  8. 8. Reduce the heat to low.
  9. 9. Let the jam simmer for 10 minutes.
  10. 10. Remove the pot from the heat.
  11. 11. Mix the chia seeds thoroughly into the warm jam.
  12. 12. Stir in the honey.
  13. 13. Allow the jam to cool down completely.
  14. 14. Transfer the finished jam into a screw-top jar.
