🍽️ Fresh Cherry Lemonade

Ingredients
- 500 g cherries
- 1 lemon
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1.5 l still mineral water (or sparkling water to taste)
- ice cubes
- cherries (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the cherries under running water.
- 2. Remove the pits from the cherries.
- 3. Puree the pitted cherries into a smooth pulp.
- 4. Press the cherry pulp through a fine sieve to separate the juice from the fibers.
- 5. Pour the extracted cherry juice into a pot.
- 6. Heat the juice together with the honey until the mixture boils.
- 7. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon into the hot mixture.
- 8. Allow the cherry-honey mixture to cool down completely.
- 9. Pour cooled mineral water into the cherry mixture.
- 10. Place the lemonade in the refrigerator for one hour to let the flavors meld.
- 11. Fill the drinking glasses with ice cubes.
- 12. Pour the cold lemonade over the ice.
- 13. Garnish each glass with a fresh cherry.
- 14. Serve the lemonade immediately.
