Ingredients
- 1 kg pitted sweet cherries (or sour cherries to taste)
- 500 g jam sugar (2:1)
- 1 cinnamon stick
Instructions
- 1. Put the cherries, sugar, and cinnamon into a pot. Bring the mixture to a boil while stirring constantly, then let it simmer gently for 4 minutes.
- 2. Do a setting test to check if the jam is firm enough. Remove the cinnamon stick and fill the hot jam into prepared jars. Seal the jars carefully.
