🍽️ Cherry Ice Cream with Orange

Ingredients
- 200 g pitted sour cherries (fresh or unsweetened from the can)
- 400 g low-fat plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- liquid sweetener
- 3 oranges
- 2 tsp chopped pistachios
Instructions
- 1. Set aside a few fresh cherries.
- 2. Puree the remaining cherries together with the yogurt until smooth.
- 3. Season the mixture with lemon juice and sweetener to taste.
- 4. Place the cherry-yogurt mixture in the freezer.
- 5. Take the mixture out of the freezer every 30 minutes.
- 6. Stir or puree the mixture vigorously each time.
- 7. Repeat this process for a total of 2 hours.
- 8. Fill the finished cherry mixture into small ice molds.
- 9. Smooth the surface of the molds.
- 10. Put the molds back in the freezer until the ice cream is firm.
- 11. Peel the oranges so that you remove the white pith as well.
- 12. Carefully separate the fruit segments.
- 13. Catch the released orange juice in a bowl.
- 14. Dip the ice molds briefly into hot water.
- 15. Turn out the semi-frozen ice onto small plates.
- 16. Garnish the ice cream with the orange segments and the reserved cherries.
- 17. Drizzle the collected orange juice over the ice cream.
- 18. Sprinkle the dessert with chopped pistachios.
