🍰 Cherry Yogurt Cups

Ingredients
- 32 small amaretti cookies
- 250 g heavy cream
- 250 g yogurt (3.5% fat)
- 1 tbsp mascarpone
- 1 tsp bourbon vanilla
- 500 g sweet cherries (from the jar)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- sugar
- almond liqueur
- sugar pearls (to taste)
Instructions
- 1. Put the cream and two teaspoons of sugar into a bowl.
- 2. Whip the cream with a mixer until very stiff.
- 3. Gently fold the stiff cream into the yogurt.
- 4. Stir mascarpone and vanilla into the yogurt-cream mixture.
- 5. Let the cherries drain in a sieve.
- 6. Take 300 grams of the cherries for the sauce.
- 7. Put the 300 grams of cherries into a pot.
- 8. Add three tablespoons of sugar and cinnamon to the pot.
- 9. Add 100 milliliters of the drained cherry liquid to the pot.
- 10. Simmer the cherries for five minutes with a lid on.
- 11. Puree the cooked cherries with a hand blender.
- 12. Press the cherry mixture through a fine sieve.
- 13. Let the cherry puree cool down.
- 14. Break the amaretti cookies into small pieces.
- 15. Distribute the cookie pieces onto four glass bowls.
- 16. Drizzle each bowl with two to three tablespoons of amaretto liqueur.
- 17. Put the cooled cherry puree on the cookies.
- 18. Layer the remaining drained cherries on top.
- 19. Fill the bowls with the yogurt-cream mixture.
- 20. Put the dessert in the fridge for a while.
- 21. Garnish the dessert with sugar pearls.
- 22. Serve the cups cold.
