  4. 4. Rinse the lime under hot water and dry it.
  5. 5. Grate the lime zest finely.
  6. 6. Squeeze out the juice of the lime.
  7. 7. Place two paper liners inside each other.
  8. 8. Mix the flour with the baking powder.
  9. 9. Beat the butter with the sugar, vanilla sugar, and egg until creamy.
  10. 10. Fold the lime zest into the butter mixture.
  11. 11. Fold 2 tablespoons of lime juice into the butter mixture.
  12. 12. Fold the kefir into the butter mixture.
  13. 13. Add the flour mixture.
  14. 14. Mix the ingredients quickly.
  15. 15. Gently fold in the cherries.
  16. 16. Fill the paper liners two-thirds full.
