  1. 1. Thoroughly wash the cherries under running water.
  2. 2. Let the cherries drain well in a colander.
  3. 3. Remove the pits from all the cherries.
  4. 4. Take about 200 grams of the pitted cherries and puree them finely.
  5. 5. Add the yogurt to the cherry puree mixture.
  6. 6. Add the cream to the mixture.
  7. 7. Add the powdered sugar to the mixture.
  8. 8. Add the lemon juice to the mixture.
  9. 9. Stir all ingredients well together until a homogeneous mass is formed.
  10. 10. Put the cherry-yogurt mixture into the ice cream maker.
  11. 11. Let the ice cream maker run for 30 to 40 minutes until the mixture is frozen creamy.
  12. 12. Add the remaining pitted cherries in the last minute.
  13. 13. Let the ice cream maker run for another 10 minutes until the time is up.
  14. 14. Use an ice cream scoop to take balls out of the finished ice cream.
  15. 15. Put the ice cream portions into small cups.
  16. 16. Serve the ice cream as you like.
