Ingredients
- 4 Eggs
- 100 Sugar
- 1 tsp Bourbon Vanilla
- 80 g Flour
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 small spoon Baking Powder
- 150 ml Milk
- 500 g sweet Cherries
- 5 tbsp Almond Flakes
- Butter (for the pan)
Instructions
- 1. Beat the eggs, sugar, and vanilla with a hand mixer until creamy.
- 2. Add the flour, salt, baking powder, and milk to the egg mixture.
- 3. Let the batter rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- 4. Wash the cherries and remove the pits.
- 5. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
- 6. Grease a glass or ceramic baking dish.
- 7. Pour one-third of the batter into the dish.
- 8. Distribute the cherries evenly over the batter.
- 9. Pour the remaining batter over the cherries.
- 10. Sprinkle sliced almonds over the batter.
- 11. Bake the clafouti for 40 minutes until golden brown.
