Ingredients
- 500 g sour cherries (jar)
- 3 eggs
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 40 g flour
- 200 ml milk
- 1 tbsp melted butter (for the ramekins)
- powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- 1. Drain the cherries well in a sieve.
- 2. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius fan-forced.
- 3. Take a baking dish or four small ramekins.
- 4. Brush the dish or ramekins thinly with melted butter.
- 5. Whisk the eggs together with the powdered sugar until very frothy.
- 6. Sift the flour over the egg mixture.
- 7. Pour in the milk and stir everything into a smooth batter.
- 8. Pour the batter into the prepared dish.
- 9. Distribute the drained cherries evenly over the batter.
- 10. Bake the clafouti for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
- 11. Remove the pastry from the oven.
- 12. Let it cool down for a short while.
- 13. Sprinkle some powdered sugar over it.
- 14. Serve the clafouti warm.
