  1. 1. Rinse the orange under hot water and pat it dry.
  2. 2. Cut thin strips from the orange peel (these are called zest).
  3. 3. Cut the orange in half.
  4. 4. Cut one half into wedges, but keep the bottom skin intact.
  5. 5. Squeeze the juice from the other orange half.
  6. 6. Bring 500 milliliters of water to a boil in a pot.
  7. 7. Add the orange zest and the spices to the boiling water.
  8. 8. Simmer the mixture on low heat with the lid on for 15 minutes.
  9. 9. Add the orange juice, elderberry juice, apple juice, and honey.
  10. 10. Stir everything well.
  11. 11. Remove the pot from the heat.
  12. 12. Strain the punch through a sieve to remove solid ingredients.
  13. 13. Pour the punch into glasses.
  14. 14. Add the orange wedges to the glasses.
  15. 15. Enjoy the punch hot or lukewarm.
