🍽️ Sweet Vanilla Latte for Kids

Ingredients
- 2 fresh dates
- 4 walnut kernels
- 2 tbsp sweetened sea buckthorn juice
- 1.5 tsp defatted cocoa powder
- 250 ml milk (1.5% fat)
- 1 piece vanilla pod (approx. 1 cm)
Instructions
- 1. Remove the skin from the dates.
- 2. Cut the dates in half.
- 3. Remove the pits from the date halves.
- 4. Roughly chop the walnut kernels with a large knife.
- 5. Pour the sea buckthorn juice into a tall container.
- 6. Add one teaspoon of cocoa powder to the container.
- 7. Add 75 milliliters of milk to the container.
- 8. Add the prepared dates to the container.
- 9. Add the chopped walnuts to the container.
- 10. Blend the mixture finely with a hand blender.
- 11. Slice the vanilla pod lengthwise.
- 12. Scrape the pulp out of the vanilla pod.
- 13. Put the vanilla pulp into a saucepan.
- 14. Pour the remaining milk into the saucepan.
- 15. Warm the milk in the saucepan.
- 16. Make sure the milk does not boil.
- 17. Froth the warm milk using a small whisk or a milk frother.
- 18. Pour the date-cocoa milk into a glass.
- 19. Pour the frothed milk over the date milk.
- 20. Sprinkle the latte with the remaining cocoa powder.
- 21. Serve the latte immediately.
