🍽️ Creamy Chickpea Dip

Ingredients
- 250 g dried chickpeas
- 2 garlic cloves
- salt
- 50 g tahini (jar)
- 1 lime (juice)
- cumin (ground)
- 4 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- 1. Place the chickpeas in a container with water overnight.
- 2. Drain the soaking water the next day.
- 3. Place the chickpeas in a pot and cover them with fresh water.
- 4. Cook the beans for about 40 minutes until they are soft.
- 5. Remove the pot from the heat.
- 6. Pour the chickpeas into a colander.
- 7. Rinse the beans briefly under cold water.
- 8. Set aside a few chickpeas for decoration.
- 9. Puree the remaining chickpeas with a hand blender until smooth.
- 10. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 11. Chop the garlic finely.
- 12. Mash the garlic with a pinch of salt into a paste.
- 13. Add the garlic paste to the pureed chickpeas.
- 14. Stir in tahini (sesame paste), lime juice, cumin, and 3 tablespoons of oil.
- 15. Mix everything until a smooth cream forms.
- 16. Season the dip to taste with salt and lime juice.
- 17. Transfer the dip to a serving plate.
- 18. Drizzle the dip with the remaining oil.
- 19. Sprinkle the reserved chickpeas on top for decoration.
