🍰 Cranberry Cookies

Ingredients
- 250 g flour
- 0.5 tsp baking powder
- 0.5 tsp baking soda
- 1 pinch salt
- 200 g soft butter
- 150 g brown sugar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp orange juice
- 100 g dried cranberries

Instructions
- 1. Prep: Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius (conventional heat).
- 2. Line two baking sheets with baking paper.
- 3. Take a large bowl and add flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- 4. Stir the dry ingredients in the bowl well with a spoon or whisk.
- 5. Take a second, clean bowl.
- 6. Add butter, sugar, and vanilla sugar to this second bowl.
- 7. Beat the butter-sugar mixture with a mixer or hand whisk until it is light and fluffy.
- 8. Add the egg to the fluffy butter mixture.
- 9. Stir the egg in briefly until it is incorporated.
- 10. Add the prepared flour mixture to the butter mixture.
- 11. Add the orange juice.
- 12. Stir everything together briefly until a dough forms. Do not overmix.
- 13. Take the cranberries and gently fold them into the dough with a spoon.
- 14. Take two tablespoons of dough.
- 15. Shape it into a small mound or cookie.
- 16. Place the dough mound on the prepared baking sheet.
- 17. Repeat this until you have distributed all cookies on the sheets.
- 18. Slide the sheets into the center of the preheated oven.
- 19. Bake the cookies for 15 minutes until they are golden brown.
- 20. Take the baking sheets out of the oven.
- 21. Carefully lift the baking paper with the hot cookies onto a kitchen wire rack.
- 22. Let the cookies cool down completely on the rack.
