🥤 Refreshing Kefir Smoothie with Blackcurrants

Ingredients
- 150 g blackcurrants
- 5 tbsp blackcurrant juice
- 1 tbsp honey
- 400 ml kefir
- 200 ml sparkling mineral water
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the blackcurrants under running water.
- 2. Carefully pick the berries off the hard stems (stalks).
- 3. Place the cleaned berries, blackcurrant juice, and honey into a small saucepan.
- 4. Heat the mixture on the medium stove setting until it begins to boil.
- 5. Let the mixture simmer on medium heat for 8 to 9 minutes until it thickens slightly.
- 6. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the sweet berry mixture cool down completely.
- 7. Place the cooled berry mixture and the kefir into a blender.
- 8. Blend the ingredients until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.
- 9. Pour the finished drink into suitable glasses.
- 10. Top up the drink with very cold mineral water.
