  1. 1. Thoroughly wash the blackcurrants under running water.
  2. 2. Carefully pick the berries off the hard stems (stalks).
  3. 3. Place the cleaned berries, blackcurrant juice, and honey into a small saucepan.
  4. 4. Heat the mixture on the medium stove setting until it begins to boil.
  5. 5. Let the mixture simmer on medium heat for 8 to 9 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  6. 6. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the sweet berry mixture cool down completely.
  7. 7. Place the cooled berry mixture and the kefir into a blender.
  8. 8. Blend the ingredients until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.
  9. 9. Pour the finished drink into suitable glasses.
  10. 10. Top up the drink with very cold mineral water.
