  4. 4. Mix the thyme leaves in a bowl with salt, pepper, and olive oil.
  5. 5. Thread three potato slices onto each wooden skewer.
  6. 6. Brush the skewers generously with the herb-oil mixture.
  7. 7. Place the skewers on the grill.
  8. 8. Cook the skewers for 20 minutes.
  9. 9. Turn the skewers once halfway through the cooking time.
  10. 10. Peel the avocado.
  11. 11. Cut the avocado in half lengthwise and remove the pit.
  12. 12. Mash the avocado flesh with a fork until smooth.
