Ingredients
- 1 kg new potatoes
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- salt
Instructions
- 1. Turn on your oven to 180 degrees Celsius fan-forced and preheat it.
- 2. Wash the potatoes thoroughly under running water.
- 3. Cut the potatoes into large wedges or spears.
- 4. Place the potato pieces into a large bowl.
- 5. Add the lemon juice, the chili (or chili powder), the curry powder, and the olive oil.
- 6. Mix everything well so that all potatoes are evenly coated with the spice mixture.
- 7. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 8. Spread the seasoned potatoes evenly on the tray.
- 9. Season the wedges finally with a pinch of salt.
- 10. Place the tray into the preheated oven.
- 11. Bake the potatoes for about 40 minutes until golden brown.
- 12. Turn the wedges occasionally during the baking time so they cook evenly.
