Ingredients
- Yogurt butter
- 450 g mostly waxy potatoes
- Salt
- 5 sprigs dill
- 35 g yogurt butter
Instructions
- 1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly.
- 2. Peel the potatoes.
- 3. Bring water to a boil and add some salt.
- 4. Cook the potatoes in the salted water for about 20 minutes.
- 5. Wash the dill.
- 6. Shake the dill dry.
- 7. Pluck the small dill leaves (flags) from the stems.
- 8. Preheat the oven to 75 degrees Celsius (Gas level 1).
- 9. Place a suitable serving dish in the hot oven to preheat it.
- 10. Drain the cooking water from the potatoes.
- 11. Place the pot with the potatoes back on the hot stove burner.
- 12. Swirl the pot gently to allow the potatoes to steam dry.
- 13. Take half of the potatoes.
- 14. Press this half through a potato ricer directly into the preheated serving dish.
- 15. Take half of the butter.
- 16. Slice the butter into thin flakes or slices.
- 17. Distribute the butter flakes evenly over the potatoes.
- 18. Take half of the prepared dill leaves.
- 19. Sprinkle the dill over the butter and the potatoes.
- 20. Take the remaining half of the potatoes.
- 21. Press these remaining potatoes through the ricer into the dish as well.
- 22. Take the remaining half of the butter.
- 23. Slice it into flakes and place it on top.
- 24. Take the remaining half of the dill.
- 25. Sprinkle the remaining dill on top as the final step.
