🍽️ Crispy Potato Omelette with Peppers and Ham

Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tsp butter
- 500 g firm-cooking cooked potatoes (from the day before)
- 1 red pointed pepper
- 200 g cooked ham (in slices)
- 6 eggs
- 100 g whipping cream
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onion and the garlic.
- 2. Finely chop the onion and the garlic.
- 3. Heat 1 teaspoon of butter in a pan.
- 4. Sauté the onions and garlic until translucent.
- 5. Cut the potatoes into large chunks or slices.
- 6. Wash the peppers and pat them dry.
- 7. Halve the peppers and remove the seeds and core.
- 8. Cut the pepper flesh into bite-sized pieces.
- 9. Cut the ham into strips.
- 10. Cut the ham strips crosswise into small pieces.
- 11. Whisk the eggs with the cream.
- 12. Mix the potatoes, peppers, ham, onions, and garlic.
- 13. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- 14. Melt 1 teaspoon of butter in a pan.
- 15. Add the potato mixture to the hot pan.
- 16. Cook the mixture over medium heat for about 10 minutes with the lid on.
- 17. Invert the omelette onto a plate.
- 18. Slide the omelette back into the pan.
- 19. Ensure the browned side is now facing up.
- 20. Cook the omelette for another 10 minutes over low heat.
