  3. 3. Heat 1 teaspoon of butter in a pan.
  4. 4. Sauté the onions and garlic until translucent.
  5. 5. Cut the potatoes into large chunks or slices.
  6. 6. Wash the peppers and pat them dry.
  7. 7. Halve the peppers and remove the seeds and core.
  8. 8. Cut the pepper flesh into bite-sized pieces.
  9. 9. Cut the ham into strips.
  10. 10. Cut the ham strips crosswise into small pieces.
  11. 11. Whisk the eggs with the cream.
  12. 12. Mix the potatoes, peppers, ham, onions, and garlic.
  13. 13. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
  14. 14. Melt 1 teaspoon of butter in a pan.
  15. 15. Add the potato mixture to the hot pan.
  16. 16. Cook the mixture over medium heat for about 10 minutes with the lid on.
