  2. 2. Fill a pot with water and add some salt and cumin.
  3. 3. Place the potatoes in the water.
  4. 4. Cover the pot with a lid.
  5. 5. Cook the potatoes for about 25 minutes.
  6. 6. Put the quark into a bowl.
  7. 7. Pour the milk over the quark.
  8. 8. Stir the mixture until smooth, with no lumps remaining.
  9. 9. Season the quark mixture with salt.
  10. 10. Add pepper.
  11. 11. Add paprika powder.
  12. 12. Sprinkle in some cumin.
  13. 13. Peel the onion.
  14. 14. Finely chop the onion.
  15. 15. Wash the chives.
  16. 16. Cut the chives into small rings.
  17. 17. Place the chopped onion into a small bowl.
  18. 18. Place the chive rings into the same small bowl.
  19. 19. Drain the cooking water from the potatoes.
  20. 20. Let the potatoes steam for a short while.
  21. 21. Peel the potatoes.
  22. 22. Take a portion of potatoes.
  23. 23. Add some quark.
  24. 24. Plate the dish.
  25. 25. Repeat this for all portions.
  26. 26. Drizzle some linseed oil over the potatoes.
  27. 27. Serve the onions and chive rings separately.
  28. 28. Also serve the butter pieces.
