🍰 Crispy Potato Gratin

Ingredients
- 600 g firm-cooking potatoes
- 2 garlic cloves
- 50 g soft butter
- pepper (from the mill)
- salt
- 80 g grated Parmesan
- 200 ml meat broth (depends on the baking dish, possibly more or less)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius using the top and bottom heating function.
- 2. Peel the potatoes and wash them thoroughly.
- 3. Slice the potatoes into very thin rounds or grate them finely.
- 4. Peel the garlic and press it into a small bowl.
- 5. Mix the garlic with the butter, pepper, and a pinch of salt.
- 6. Brush an oven-safe pan (such as cast iron) with some butter.
- 7. Arrange the potato slices in the bottom of the pan, letting them overlap slightly.
- 8. Brush this layer with some butter and sprinkle with some cheese.
- 9. Sprinkle some cheese over the first layer.
- 10. Add a second layer of potatoes.
- 11. Repeat the process of brushing with butter and sprinkling with cheese.
- 12. Repeat the process until all the potatoes, butter mixture, and cheese are used up.
- 13. Pour in the broth until the potatoes are almost completely covered.
- 14. Bake the gratin in the preheated oven.
