🍽️ Crispy Potato Dumplings Stuffed with Minced Meat

Ingredients
- 1.5 kg potatoes
- 0.5 kg boiled potatoes (from the day before)
- 0.25 l milk
- 1 tbsp salt
- 3 stalks celery
- 250 g minced meat
- 2 tbsp oil
- 3 tbsp butter
Instructions
- 1. Peel the raw potatoes and grate them finely into a bowl of cold water.
- 2. Place the grated potatoes in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out all the liquid firmly.
- 3. Finely grate the pre-cooked potatoes as well.
- 4. Heat the milk and pour it over the cooked potatoes.
- 5. Stir the potato and milk mixture until smooth.
- 6. Knead the grated raw potatoes and the cooked potato mixture together with salt to form a firm dough.
- 7. Wash the celery and cut it into small cubes.
- 8. Heat oil in a pan.
- 9. Fry the minced meat together with the celery in the pan.
- 10. Let the meat filling cool down completely.
- 11. Wet your hands with water.
- 12. Form balls from the potato dough.
- 13. Press a small indentation into each ball and place some of the cooled minced meat filling inside.
- 14. Close the dumplings back into round shapes.
- 15. Bring plenty of water to a boil in a large pot.
- 16. Gently add the dumplings to the boiling water.
- 17. Cook the dumplings in the water for 20 minutes.
- 18. Remove the finished dumplings from the water.
- 19. Let the dumplings drain well.
- 20. Heat butter in a pan.
- 21. Fry the dumplings on all sides until golden brown.
