  2. 2. Place the potatoes in a pot with plenty of salted water.
  3. 3. Cook the potatoes for 30 minutes until they are soft.
  4. 4. Drain the water and let the potatoes drain well.
  5. 5. Mash the potatoes finely using a press or a fork.
  6. 6. Let the potato mixture cool down briefly.
  7. 7. Add the flour, potato flour, salt, and eggs to the mixture.
  8. 8. Knead the ingredients thoroughly into a smooth dough.
  9. 9. Sprinkle some flour on your work surface.
  10. 10. Dust your hands with flour as well.
  11. 11. Form small balls from the dough, about the size of a walnut.
  12. 12. Press the balls slightly flat.
  13. 13. Press a small indentation into the center of each dumpling with your finger.
  14. 14. Bring a pot of salted water to a gentle simmer.
  15. 15. Cook the dumplings in the liquid for about 5 minutes.
  16. 16. Remove the dumplings from the pot as soon as they float to the surface.
  17. 17. Let the finished dumplings drain well.
  18. 18. Warm the butter and bacon in a frying pan.
