Ingredients
- 450 g onions
- 2 garlic cloves
- 800 g waxy potatoes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 500 ml vegetable broth
- 10 g parsley (0.5 bunch)
- cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
- salt
- 50 g sour cream
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onions and garlic.
- 2. Finely dice the onions and garlic.
- 3. Wash the potatoes.
- 4. Peel the potatoes.
- 5. Cut the potatoes into large chunks.
- 6. Heat the oil in a large pot.
- 7. Sauté the onions and garlic in the hot oil until translucent.
- 8. Add the potato chunks to the pot.
- 9. Stir in the tomato paste.
- 10. Let the mixture take on a slight color.
- 11. Deglaze the mixture with the broth.
- 12. Place the lid on the pot.
- 13. Cook the goulash for 20 to 25 minutes.
- 14. Check if the potatoes are soft.
- 15. Add more broth if necessary.
- 16. Wash the parsley.
- 17. Shake the parsley dry.
- 18. Chop the parsley.
- 19. Season the goulash with cayenne pepper.
- 20. Season the goulash with paprika powder.
- 21. Season the goulash with salt.
- 22. Stir in the sour cream.
- 23. Sprinkle the finished goulash with the chopped parsley.
- 24. Sprinkle the finished goulash with a little paprika powder.
