🍽️ Creamy Potato Stew with Avocado

Ingredients
- 600 g potatoes
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 onion
- 200 ml milk
- salt
- 150 g cheese
- 1 avocado
Instructions
- 1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Peel all the potatoes.
- 3. Cut most of the potatoes into small, even cubes.
- 4. Cut one or two potatoes into larger chunks.
- 5. Finely chop the onion.
- 6. Heat the oil in a pot.
- 7. Fry the small potato cubes together with the onion in the hot oil.
- 8. Pour enough water into the pot to completely cover the potatoes.
- 9. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- 10. Let the small potatoes cook for 10 minutes.
- 11. Add the larger potato chunks to the pot.
- 12. Continue cooking until the small potato cubes have almost completely disintegrated.
- 13. This process takes about 30 minutes.
- 14. Stir the milk into the stew.
- 15. Season the stew with salt at the end.
- 16. Cut the avocado in half lengthwise.
- 17. Remove the pit from the avocado.
- 18. Peel the avocado.
- 19. Slice the avocado into thin slices.
- 20. Cut the cheese into small cubes.
- 21. Distribute the cheese cubes onto the serving plates.
- 22. Pour the hot stew over the cheese.
- 23. Garnish the dish with the avocado slices.
- 24. Serve the stew immediately while warm.
