  2. 2. Peel the potatoes, wash them, and cut them into large chunks.
  3. 3. Heat the oil in a pot.
  4. 4. Sauté the onion cubes until translucent.
  5. 5. Add the potato chunks and sauté them briefly.
  6. 6. Pour the vegetable broth and cream into the pot.
  7. 7. Simmer the soup covered on low heat for about 20 minutes.
  8. 8. Wash the frisée lettuce, spin it dry, and chop it finely.
  9. 9. Halve the bacon slices.
  10. 10. Fry the bacon in a non-stick pan without extra fat until crispy.
  11. 11. Let the bacon drain briefly on kitchen paper.
  12. 12. Wash the parsley and shake it dry.
  13. 13. Pluck the parsley leaves and chop them finely.
  14. 14. Puree the soup finely with a hand blender.
  15. 15. Stir the chopped lettuce into the soup.
  16. 16. Blend the mixture briefly again.
  17. 17. Season the soup with salt and pepper.
  18. 18. Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the soup.
  19. 19. Place the crispy bacon decoratively on top of the soup.
