  4. 4. Carefully pat the potato slices completely dry with kitchen paper or a clean cloth.
  5. 5. Heat oil in a deep fryer or a deep pot to a high temperature.
  6. 6. Fry the potato slices in batches until they are golden yellow and crispy.
  7. 7. Remove the chips from the oil and let them drain on kitchen paper.
