🍽️ Crispy Potato Bread

Ingredients
- 200 g potatoes (starchy) cooked the day before
- 500 g wheat flour
- 42 g yeast (1 cube)
- 1 tsp sugar
- 150 g buttermilk
- 1 tbsp salt
- 2 tbsp oil
Instructions
- 1. Crumble the yeast into a bowl.
- 2. Add the sugar and the warm buttermilk.
- 3. Stir the mixture until smooth and the yeast has dissolved.
- 4. Cover the bowl and let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
- 5. Peel the potatoes.
- 6. Press the potatoes through a potato ricer.
- 7. Add the flour, salt, and the yeast-milk mixture to the potatoes.
- 8. Pour in 300 milliliters of lukewarm water.
- 9. Knead everything into a thick dough.
- 10. Knead the oil into the dough.
- 11. Grease a baking pan.
- 12. Place the dough into the prepared pan.
- 13. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with fan (convection).
- 14. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 30 to 40 minutes.
- 15. Bake the bread in the preheated oven for about 1 hour.
- 16. Turn the finished bread out of the pan.
- 17. Let the bread cool completely on a wire rack.
