🍽️ Saffron Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients
- 1 kg floury potatoes
- 1 small jar saffron (0.1 g)
- 250 ml heavy cream
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp freshly grated Parmesan (or goat cheese)
- salt
Instructions
- 1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly.
- 2. Steam the potatoes for about 30 minutes until they are cooked through.
- 3. Peel the cooked potatoes.
- 4. Press the potatoes through a potato ricer.
- 5. Heat the cream together with the saffron.
- 6. Stir the butter and Parmesan into the potatoes.
- 7. Mix the saffron-infused cream into the potato mixture.
- 8. Season the mash with salt to taste.
