🍽️ Creamy Mashed Potatoes with Chicken Liver

Ingredients
- 360 g potatoes (4 potatoes)
- 100 g chicken liver
- 250 g large apples (1 large apple)
- 3 tbsp rapeseed oil
Instructions
- 1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly.
- 2. Place the unpeeled potatoes in a pot.
- 3. Add water until the potatoes are covered.
- 4. Cover the pot with a lid.
- 5. Cook the potatoes until tender.
- 6. This takes about 20 to 25 minutes.
- 7. Take the chicken liver out of the packaging.
- 8. Remove visible fat edges or membranes.
- 9. Rinse the liver under cold water.
- 10. Pat the liver dry with kitchen paper.
- 11. Cut the liver into small cubes.
- 12. Wash the apple thoroughly.
- 13. Cut the apple into four quarters.
- 14. Remove the core.
- 15. Cut the apple pieces into fine cubes as well.
- 16. Put the liver cubes into a small pot.
- 17. Add the apple cubes to the same pot.
- 18. Pour in two tablespoons of water.
- 19. Cover the pot with a lid.
- 20. Place the pot on the stove.
- 21. Set the heat to low.
- 22. Cook the mixture for 8 to 10 minutes.
- 23. Remove the pot from the heat.
- 24. Puree the liver and apple mixture until smooth.
- 25. Use a hand blender for this.
- 26. Drain the cooking water from the potatoes.
- 27. Rinse the hot potatoes under cold water.
- 28. Peel the potatoes.
- 29. Press the potatoes through a potato ricer.
- 30. Mix the pressed potatoes with the puree.
- 31. Add rapeseed oil.
- 32. Add a little water.
- 33. Stir everything well.
- 34. Divide the mash into four equal portions.
- 35. Feed one portion immediately.
- 36. Freeze the remaining portions separately.
- 37. Thaw a portion for feeding.
- 38. Use the microwave or a pot for this.
- 39. Heat the mash quickly.
