  1. 1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly.
  2. 2. Place the unpeeled potatoes in a pot.
  3. 3. Add water until the potatoes are covered.
  4. 4. Cover the pot with a lid.
  5. 5. Cook the potatoes until tender.
  6. 6. This takes about 20 to 25 minutes.
  7. 7. Take the chicken liver out of the packaging.
  8. 8. Remove visible fat edges or membranes.
  9. 9. Rinse the liver under cold water.
  10. 10. Pat the liver dry with kitchen paper.
  11. 11. Cut the liver into small cubes.
  12. 12. Wash the apple thoroughly.
  13. 13. Cut the apple into four quarters.
  14. 14. Remove the core.
  15. 15. Cut the apple pieces into fine cubes as well.
  16. 16. Put the liver cubes into a small pot.
  17. 17. Add the apple cubes to the same pot.
  18. 18. Pour in two tablespoons of water.
  19. 19. Cover the pot with a lid.
  20. 20. Place the pot on the stove.
  21. 21. Set the heat to low.
  22. 22. Cook the mixture for 8 to 10 minutes.
  23. 23. Remove the pot from the heat.
  24. 24. Puree the liver and apple mixture until smooth.
  25. 25. Use a hand blender for this.
  26. 26. Drain the cooking water from the potatoes.
  27. 27. Rinse the hot potatoes under cold water.
  28. 28. Peel the potatoes.
  29. 29. Press the potatoes through a potato ricer.
  30. 30. Mix the pressed potatoes with the puree.
  31. 31. Add rapeseed oil.
  32. 32. Add a little water.
  33. 33. Stir everything well.
  34. 34. Divide the mash into four equal portions.
  35. 35. Feed one portion immediately.
  36. 36. Freeze the remaining portions separately.
  37. 37. Thaw a portion for feeding.
  38. 38. Use the microwave or a pot for this.
  39. 39. Heat the mash quickly.
