🍽️ Creamy Potato Spread

Ingredients
- 500 g firm-boiling potatoes
- 4 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 100 g whipping cream
- 1 bunch chives
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
- 1. Peel the potatoes and the garlic.
- 2. Place both in a pot and cover them just with water.
- 3. Cook the potatoes and garlic for about 25 minutes.
- 4. Drain the water.
- 5. Rinse the potatoes and garlic briefly with cold water to cool them down.
- 6. Press the potatoes and garlic through a potato ricer into a bowl.
- 7. Stir the cream and olive oil into the potato mixture.
- 8. Season the spread with salt and pepper.
- 9. Place the spread in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- 10. Cut the chives into fine rings.
- 11. Spread the cold spread onto slices of white bread.
- 12. Sprinkle the spread with the chive rings.
- 13. Serve the spread.
